Ibtehaj Al Ahmadani is the Founder & Chairperson of Al Ahmadani Medical Center and Al Ahmadani Medical Services, Board Member of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industries, and Head of the Qatari Business Women Forum.
Ibtehaj Al Ahmadani is the Founder & Chairperson of Al Ahmadani Medical Center and Al Ahmadani Medical Services, Board Member of Al Ahmadani Group for General Trading & Construction, Board Member of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Head of the Qatari Business Women Forum, and Board Member of the National Health Insurance Company.
Ibtehaj graduated from New Hampshire College of Manchester in London where she received her BSc degree in Business Studies and she completed her Master’s degree in Business Administration at Qatar University. Elected as the first female Board Member of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce & Industries in 2006, she was assigned to administer the Committee on the Health Sector and the Qatar Business Women Forum. One of her main objectives is to identify the needs and difficulties of the country’s health sector and work in coordination with the concerned authorities while at the same time aligning the health sector to Qatar National Vision 2030.
As the Head of Qatar Business Women Forum, her main objective is to encourage more women to actively participate in the development and growth of Qatar’s economy that is continuously inspired by the success of Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Misnad in the educational field. She is also the official representative of Qatari businesswomen at social and economic events worldwide. She was recognised by Forbes Middle East for being one of the 50 Most Influential Arab Women in the Middle East from 2006 – 2008 and in 2013 Forbes Middle East again recognised her as one of the Most Influential Arab Women in the Government and Family Business.
