Haifa Fahoum Al Kaylani

Haifa Fahoum Al Kaylani, President & Founder of the Arab International Women’s Forum, is well known in international government, business and non-governmental organisation circles as a high-impact change agent focusing on women’s leadership, youth empowerment and working for progress, inclusion, peace and security in the Arab region and always within an international framework.
A development economist and an alumna of the American University of Beirut, Haifa Al Kaylani read for a Diploma in Economic Development at Oxford University and is a Fellow of the Harvard Advanced Leadership Initiative 2017. In August 2017, she was appointed to serve as a Commissioner of the ILO Global Commission on the Future of Work. She brings a wide range of skills and experience to her personal mission of encouraging greater cultural understanding and sustainable economic growth and reform, supporting a strong role for women and young leaders at the heart of that process.
HE Mona Al Moayyed
Chair of the Executive Committee, The Arab International Women’s Forum; Managing Director, YK Al Moayyed & Sons and Member of the Bahrain Shura Council

HE Mona Yousif Almoayyed hails from one of Bahrain’s most established entrepreneurial families. She is the Managing Director of YK Almoayyed & Sons and was appointed a Member of the Bahrain Shura Council (the second chamber in the legislative house) by HM King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa in December 2018.
She is a longstanding member of the AIWF Board, and was the Founding Member of the Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society (BBWS) and the Chairwoman for three terms from 2006 – May 2012. She was the first woman to be elected to the Board of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) in 2001, and has won numerous prestigious awards and recognitions, including being named by Forbes as the 8th amongst 100 Most Influential Arab Women in the Middle East.
