AIWF and the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association sign MoU to support transparent, inclusive sustainable development in Europe, the Mediterranean and Africa 30 April 2024

The Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA, represented by its Founder and President, Professor Rym Ayadi, and the Arab International Women’s Forum (AIWF), represented by HE Mona Al Moayyed, Chair of the AIWF Executive Committee, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the purpose of enhancing collaboration on the Euro-Mediterranean and Africa ecosystems.

The Arab International Women’s Forum (AIWF) is an independent non-profit development organisation founded in London in 2001 by Haifa Al Kaylani OBE. AIWF is committed to the economic inclusion and empowerment through education, entrepreneurship and employability for women and young leaders in the MENA and globally. The Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association is a leading regional innovative think and act tank, with in-house policy research, action development and implementation capacity and a large network in Europe, the Mediterranean and Africa.

Together, AIWF and EMEA are committed to working collaboratively to enhance expert knowledge in the regions and support transparent inclusive social and economic development with a particular emphasis on expertise, sharing of knowledge, co-funding and dissemination. Ultimately, both organisations look forward to supporting the critical transformation towards a transparent sustainable transition in the Mediterranean and Africa.
