All of us at AIWF are deeply proud to have longstanding ties with the UAE and its many outstanding female leaders in business, academia and public service.
AIWF has hosted numerous conferences and initiatives in the UAE over our 20-year history. Many of our current Board Members, all exemplary leaders in business, are based in the UAE; HE Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, former UAE Minister of State for Tolerance and former President of Zayed University, was one of AIWF’s Founder Board Members from 2001 to 2012; and Dr. Raja Al Gurg, Managing Director of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group and President of the Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC), is also a valued former Board Member.
Our AIWF Benefactor Partner PepsiCo and Global Partners Pfizer, Shell, and PwC are all deeply engaged in the UAE and are all committed to supporting the empowerment of women and youth across the GCC and broader Arab world.
