Masdar’s Women in Sustainability, Environment and Renewable Energy (WiSER) initiative cordially invites Arab International Women’s Forum’s (AIWF) female network, aged 25 to 35, of any nationality, to apply for the fifth edition of the WiSER Pioneers Program.
WiSER was officially launched at the 70th United Nations General Assembly in September 2015. Founded on the three core pillars of education, engagement and empowerment, the impact-focused platform is dedicated to inspiring women to play an active role in addressing global sustainability challenges.
The year-long initiative, WiSER Pioneers Program, offers participants access to bespoke educational workshops, mentoring and networking opportunities, helping to create leaders who can effectively lead the change to a more sustainable world.
Formally beginning each year at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week – one of the world’s largest sustainability gatherings, more than 70 women have graduated from the WiSER Pioneers Program since its launch in 2018.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Female professionals aged between 25 to 35
• Currently employed or self-employed and holding a degree in a field related to environment, energy, sustainability, or science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines, with a minimum of two years of work experience
• Excellent spoken English (Arabic is desirable, but not essential)
