The AIWF Chairman and Board extend their warmest congratulations to our valued Board Member Chiara Corazza who has been appointed an Officer of the Order of the Star of Italy, a richly deserved decoration awarded by the President of Italy Sergio Mattarella and presented to her by the Ambassador of Italy to France, Teresa Castaldo.
Madame Corazza is the Special Representative to the G7 and G20 at the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society, a do-tank headquartered in Paris promoting women’s leadership and initiatives all around the world, focused not only on gender issues but on topics that concern the whole of humanity. Previously, she was the Managing Director of the Women’s Forum (2017-2021), and Managing Director of the Greater Paris Investment Agency (2002-2017).
Madame Corazza has been instrumental in facilitating AIWF’s highly successful programmes in both France and Italy in the past, including the 2012 Annual Conference held in Paris which was attended and addressed by Christine Lagarde and the Special Business Visit held to Tabiano, Italy in 2017 where a delegation of Arab women business leaders travelled to Italy to meet their counterparts from Italy and the broader European countries.
