On Wednesday 23 October 2024 the Arab International Women’s Forum was delighted to partner with Coutts & Co for the AIWF Special Reception held at the iconic Coutts building at 440 Strand in London.
The event was co-hosted by AIWF Board Members Robert Lyle and Haruko Fukuda OBE together with Paul Bagatelas, Managing Director and Head of International at Coutts, and welcomed AIWF partners, members and guests for an evening of networking between leaders in finance in the heart of the City of London and some of AIWF’s longest standing friends and supporters from the UK and the MENA region, many of whom had travelled to London especially.
At the reception, Mr Lyle and Ms Fukuda OBE shared the advocacy record of AIWF since its founding in 2001 in London by Haifa Al Kaylani OBE, and were delighted to have the opportunity to learn more about Coutts’ valuable work and history and its industry-leading commitment to diversity and inclusion. As Mr Bagatelas stated: “Coutts has a very long history of supporting and working with powerful women in business and leadership and philanthropy all over the world, and especially in the Arab world.”
The evening was impeccably organised by Coutts with outstanding service and hospitality. The Board of AIWF extends its warmest thanks to Coutts’ Executive Committee leadership for so generously hosting us for this very special event and we look forward to collaborating further with Coutts in 2025.
