On 07 March 2025, AIWF President & Founder Haifa Al Kaylani OBE was delighted to attend the Hult International Business School for the RISE Women in Business Conference in celebration of International Women’s Day.
AIWF extends its warmest thanks and appreciation to Naya Plambeck, President of the Women in Business Club; Manuela Saenz, Co-President; and Aida Ben Hamouda, Head of Communications, for the kind invitation for Haifa to participate and share her thoughts on the topic, ‘Blueprints for Change: Women Driving Global Development & Leadership’.
During the talk, she was pleased to share her insights into how business leaders can create impact while driving success, as well as her journey over the last four decades – as a development economist, philanthropist and founder of both AIWF and of a startup of her own in sustainable agriculture which has been piloted in my country Jordan. She was proud to share key lessons for leadership and her belief in coalition building and cross-cultural knowledge exchange to effect positive and sustainable change, noting that the experiences of women in one region can provide instructive and indeed inspirational for women in other parts of the world.
It was truly an honour to meet so many of Hult’s future women business leaders and to answer their questions during the Q&A. AIWF commends Hult’s admirable record of empowering women’s leadership and we look forward to working closely with them as one of the world’s leading business schools in the future.
