Haifa Al Kaylani OBE participates at the QS Middle East Higher Education Summit 2025 in Kuwait 22 April 2025

In April 2025 AIWF President & Founder Haifa Al Kaylani OBE who is an Advisory Board Member of QS participated at the QS Middle East Higher Education Summit 2025 hosted by Gulf University for Science and Technology in Kuwait, on an excellent and thought-provoking panel ‘Human Centered Learning in a Tech-Driven World’.

The panel, which was expertly moderated by Dr Bulent Yilmaz, allowed Haifa to explore a critical question: how can we embrace technology in education – particularly artificial intelligence – without compromising the deep foundations of learning? As part of the discussion she offered a three-part framework for human-centred educational transformation: i) building educator capacity through continuous professional development; ii) embedding human-centred design in edtech implementation; and iii) aligning lifelong learning strategies with national AI and workforce development goals.

Haifa was delighted to join an esteemed group of speakers including Dr Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, Dr Joe Sweeney, Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor, University of Liverpool, and Dr Narimane Hadj Hamou, Founder & CEO, Center for Learning Innovations & Customized Knowledge Solutions (CLICKS). AIWF extends its warm thanks to Dr Ashwin Fernandes and the QS team for their kind invitation for Haifa to participate and all our congratulations for organising yet another outstanding QS Middle East Higher Education Summit 2025.
