Haifa Fahoum Al Kaylani, appointed to the ILO Global Commission on the Future of Work

 

The Arab International Women's Forum is proud to share that Mrs Haifa Al Kaylani, Founder Chairman of AIWF and Fellow, Harvard Advanced Leadership Initiative 2017, was featured in Forbes Middle East's LeaderBoard: Standing Out list of High Achievers in July 2017. Forbes' High Achievers list featured many of the region's most influential women who, "aside from their day jobs ... are inspiring their peers and the next generation by heading up business councils, excelling in sports, leading philanthropic initiatives and breaking records."


Mrs Al Kaylani was commended for her leadership of AIWF, which has achieved international recognition for successfully linking Arab women with their international counterparts, and for encouraging as Founder Chairman cultural exchange and understanding between communities and promoting gender equality around the world. She was featured together with Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan and HE Raja Easa Al Gurg, President of the Dubai Business Women Council and Dubai Chambers of Commerce & Industry.

AIWF holds successful 9th Young Arab Women Leaders conference in Fez, Morocco

Following on from the success of the Young Arab Women Leaders: The Voice of the Future conferences in Amman, Beirut and Dubai in 2012, Palestine in 2013, London in 2011 and 2014, Doha in 2015, and Kuwait in 2016, the Arab International Women's Forum (AIWF) was proud to host the ninth conference of the series in Fez, Morocco on 18 April 2017 in partnership with PepsiCo and PwC.

Mrs Al Kaylani has been invited to join 45 global leaders selected for an intensive, multi-disciplinary program and yearlong Fellowship at Harvard to solve significant social problems.

AIWF welcomes new Global Diamond Partner Northern Trust

AIWF is delighted to announce that a new Global Partner joins the Arab International Women’s Forum – Northern Trust, a leading American bank which is rapidly expanding its MENA presence and recently opened an office of 12 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, employing and nurturing five young Saudi women leaders in executive positions.

Northern Trust is committed to working closely with AIWF to expand and develop its commitments to empowering and promoting women leaders in finance in the MENA region. Partnership for Innovation Seminar

Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, U.A.E., Chairperson of Nama Women Advancement Establishment and Founder & Patron of Sharjah Business Women Council, the Arab International Women’s Forum was delighted to organise in collaboration with The Sharjah Business Women Council a Seminar showcasing journeys of businesswomen in the UAE and the UK. The Seminar was held on Wednesday 27 July 2016 in The Royal Automobile Club, London under the title of The Arab International Women’s Forum and The Sharjah Business Women Council: Partnership for Innovation in Entrepreneurship.
