AIWF Chairman Receives "The Honorary Global Exemplary Award for Leadership Development 2015"

Mrs Haifa Fahoum Al Kaylani, Founder & Chairman of The Arab International Women's Forum is truly honoured to receive The Honorary Global Exemplary Award for Leadership Development 2015, acknowledging her international achievements in promoting cultural and gender equality around the world and her extraordinary contribution to economic growth and to society. 

The Award was presented at the European Women Inventors & Innovators Network (EU-WIIN) International Conference & Awards Ceremony held at The British Library London on 14 October 2015. 

The initiative was launched at the European Parliament, Brussels with the support of nine MEP's in 2006 with the main aim of stimulating wider inclusiveness and relevant exchange of knowledge in order to increase the percentage of women in fields that are traditionally male dominated. It has had the privilege of being hosted in the most beautiful and historic parts of various countries beginning in Germany (2007), Finland (2009), Iceland (2011) and Sweden (2013) and has now been staged for the first time in the United Kingdom. 

The award ceremony was witnessed by an audience of approximately 200 and included individual inventors,innovators, SME and multi-national companies, academia, the research industry and civil society from across Europe and the international world, the main focus being on women making positive changes and impact with the introduction of new products, processes and services. 

Mrs Haifa Al Kaylani, on receiving the award,  said “I am truly delighted and honoured to have been chosen as the recipient of “The Honorary Global Exemplary Award for Leadership Development 2015” and will cherish it for my entire lifetime.”
